Porn Valley- Next week Jennifer James Films begins a five day shoot in downtown L.A. titled Phantom of the Porn Set. Don Hollywood has a major part in the production. And, no, Hollywood isn’t doing an impression of Lon Chaney. Actually, the phantom will be played by Steven St. Croix and Hollywood plays a sleazy, despicable porn producer named Benny Constantine.
“I guess this is your basic porn extravaganza,” says Hollywood. “While the title has the comical relief to it, there’s a love story that’s a takeoff on Phantom of the Opera. It’s a very big budget production. And they’re actually going to be burning a sound stage to the ground as part of this whole story.”
Hollywood gets virtually every scene in the movie as well as a sex scene with the female lead, Harmony Rose. As much as Hollywood can recall, the cast also includes Brooke Hunter, Julie Night, Nicki Hunter, St. Croix, Kyle Stone and two other girls. The movie is being shot in real HD.
“It’s also going to have simultaneous webcasting with BTS coverage,” notes Hollywood. “It’s a story that starts in the late 1980’s then jumps forward in time to present day. My character is a swipe at the old school of porn. St. Croix is the phantom and Steven will have the distinction of having the lovely Harmony as his love interest.” Hollywood continues to elaborate upon the movie’s story line.
“The porn takeoff of Phantom of the Opera is shot in the 1980’s [Buck Adams actually did such a movie],” Hollywood goes on to say. “The biggest porn star around of that era is starring in this movie. She’s the girlfriend of a character named Manny and Manny catches her fucking St. Croix. and having this romance. Manny burns down the sound stage, and rising out of the ashes 15 years later Manny, with an investor, gets the bright idea he’s going to re-make his epic.
“Now he’s got a new girlfriend that looks remarkably similar, almost identical to the original girlfriend that died in the fire. Of course history repeats itself, shooting at the same place where there was this death. Manny gets it on the cheap, but there’s all these rumors that it’s being haunted by the ghost of the Phantom.”
