from www.mediabistro.com – The deal was announced in August, but as of November 1, it is official. The online and TV businesses of Playboy Enterprises Inc. (PEI) are now in the hands of The Manwin Group, a company based out of Luxembourg with offices in LA, Montreal, London and Hamburg.

Manwin operates YouPorn, Brazzers and various other adult online sites, of the kind that have put the boot to Playboy’s tame centerfolds. All told, Manwin’s X-rated holdings draw in a staggering 60 million daily visitors. From this week’s press release:

Manwin’s Playboy Plus Entertainment plans to launch a revamped version of www.playboy.com with a massive international campaign, and introduce new content and programming to Playboy TV.

There is already a link on the Manwin portal to a Playboy Playmate open casting call, for which auditions are scheduled early next year in Orange County, Phoenix and Chicago.
