from www.kmbc.com - KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City woman was arrested Monday night after she shot her husband in the genitals, Kansas City, Mo., police said.
Police said they were called to a home at 1130 E. 76th Terrace after a witness heard a gunshot.
When police arrived they found a 50-year-old man who said he was shot in the penis. He was taken to a hospital. His condition is not known.
The man told police he was shot by his 42-year-old wife in their bedroom while showing her how to use the gun.
Police arrested the man’s wife on suspicion of aggravated assault.
Police said a witness reported they heard the couple arguing before the shooting.
