Mesa, Arizona- A Mesa police officer has resigned.
An internal investigation revealed Officer Jeffrey Beaulieu was running a website for a prostitute while off-duty.
The officer stepped down January 11th during that investigation.
What happened is a female officer received more than 25 calls on her personal cell phone from people asking for escort services.
She did some research and found a web site featuring a prostitute, who told the Officer Beaulieu was running the website.
Mesa police say Beulieu was found guilty of conduct unbecoming an officer, and are reviewing the case for possible disciplinary action.
