New Port Richey, Florida- from www.www2.tbo.com - Pasco detectives are searching for the boyfriend of the woman already in jail on a murder charge, accused of killing a Hudson tattoo shop owner.
On Tuesday, a first-degree murder warrant was issued for 26-year-old Jason Richard Andrews in connection to the slaying of 41-year-old Dennis "Scooter" Abrahamsen of New Port Richey.
"We received some evidence that indicated that he was involved, and we are looking for him," Doll said.
On May 16, the body of Abrahamsen, owner of Embellishing Tattoo & Piercing, was found face down on a massage table at his home in the Tanglewood East subdivision, off Ridge Road. His head had been bashed in, possibly with a sledgehammer, and he had been stabbed in the back.
Investigators say Amanda Logue, 28, is a prostitute who participated in a May 15 sex party at Abrahamsen's home. She was arrested at her home in Leesburg, Ga., on a first-degree murder charge in the case and was extradited to Florida earlier this week. She is being held without bail at the Land O' Lakes Jail.
She is accused of bludgeoning and stabbing Abrahamsen to death. But now investigators say Andrews participated in the slaying, too, but won't disclose exactly how or what evidence led to his warrant.
Pasco deputies retrieved cell phone messages between Logue and Andrews during a period when Logue admitted being at Abrahamsen's house.
"I'm so glad you're really committed to this take," Andrews wrote. "Keep eyes for a knife, etc for me!
Logue said she wanted to have sex "after we kill (sic) him."
Doll said they don't have a current home address for Andrews, and he hasn't been seen since his released from the Pinellas County Jail shortly after the homicide.
When detectives began investigating the slaying, they discovered that about $6,000, a laptop computer, a video camera, a digital camera and a Home Depot credit card were missing from Abrahamsen's house at 8250 Sycamore Drive.
Logue told a detective during an interview in her Georgia home that her boyfriend, Jason Andrews, killed Abrahamsen. He was arrested in Largo on a retail theft charge a couple of days after the slaying. He had Abrahamsen's Home Depot card with him at the time, authorities said.
Doll said that detectives have interviewed Andrews in connection to Abrahamsen's death but didn't have enough evidence to charge him with the murder before his release from the Pinellas County Jail on May 19.
He said that detectives had hoped to find him before announcing the warrant publicly but so far have not been able to locate him.
His last known address, according to Pinellas Jail records, was 2105 West Bristol, Tampa but that is the address for the Hyde Park Hotel.

Authorities are searching for Jason Andrews, 27. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on a charge of first-degree murder. Kevin Doll, spokesman for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, said investigators believe Andrews might be in Florida.
He said Andrews should be considered armed and dangerous.
Doll asked for people with information about Andrews' whereabouts to call their local law enforcement agency.

Authorities say Amanda Logue, a 28-year-old mother, fetish model and wife to a man in Georgia, was paid to have sex with Abrahamsen and another couple on the night of May 15. Court documents reveal text messages sent between Logue and Andrews, who was allegedly waiting outside Abrahamsen's home.
"I'm so glad you're really commited to this take. Keep eyes for a knife, etc for me!" Andrews sent to Logue, records state.
Logue said she wanted to have sex with Andrews "after we kill" Abrahamsen. Andrews told Logue to "bash" Abrahamsen on the head and to take her time, according to the transcripts.
Authorities say Andrews and Logue — after the slaying — stole $6,000 in cash from Abrahamsen's house, along with cameras and a laptop. On May 17, authorities say, Andrews charged $409.31 on Abrahamsen's Home Depot credit card. Both Andrews and Logue were arrested May 18 on charges of stealing $67.97 worth of clothes from Beall's in Largo.
They were questioned by detectives about the murder while in the Pinellas County jail. But both were released on bail. Logue went home to her husband in Georgia and was arrested May 27. She was extradited Monday to the Pasco County jail.
Andrews was released May 19.
"We didn't have the evidence at that time," Doll said, as to the question of why Andrews was allowed to be released from jail.
"Now we do."
