from www.palmbeachdailynews.com - Thanos Papalexis needs to work on his pillow talk.

The Manalapan developer, now standing trial in London on charges of murdering a man he perceived to be in the way of a real estate deal, is said to have related the details of the crime with a porn actress-turned-prostitute during a tryst at the Four Seasons.

Rebecca DeFalco took the witness stand Monday at London's Old Bailey and testified that the "charming and romantic" Papalexis told her he killed Charalambos Christodoulides, 55, because he "was giving him problems."

DeFalco, who used the single name of 'Paris' when she starred in porn films, said Papalexis, 36, made the confession during a post-spat reconciliation at the upscale hotel.

According to BBC reports, DeFalco testified that after she asked him, "Have you ever killed anyone?" he told her, "Yes, I strangled someone. There were two people with me. This man was giving me problems. It happened in London ... he was in the way."

Papalexis, and two of his employees, Ylli Xhelo and Robert Baxhija, have denied murdering Christodoulides a live-in caretaker at a warehouse complex in London that Papalexis was trying to sell in order to finance another project.

Prosecutors say the caretaker was beaten, tied to a chair, tortured and strangled. His body was found under debris in a garage in an abandoned garage in the complex, 10 days after his sister reported him missing in March 2000.

DeFalco said she first met Papalexis in April 2004 when he responded to an online advertisement she had placed. She described the two-month relationship as "turbocharged" and said Papalexis, who paid her more than $2,000 per session at each of their thrice-weekly trysts, asked her to give up her other clients.

DeFalco also testified that Papalexis told her he was in the shipping and oil business, and that he also worked as a "James Bond" for British and American intelligence agencies.

Papalexis told her of the murder in May 2004, DeFalco said, and the relationship ended a month later, although they continued to see each other until 2007. DeFalco said she did not tell anybody of the confession until Papalexis was arrested at a West Palm Beach restaurant in December.

The trial is continuing in London.
