Jessica Darlin posts: It was another normal Thursday night for the Darlin. My hobbies are so simple and easy to follow. I invested into a home theatre system. From the oversized theatre seats to the surround sound to the gigantic plasma-I take my movie/TV experience seriously! I have all the movie theatre themed accessories surrounding me. When we sit down at 8:00 each night I’m in my zone. I have all of my shows recording when I’m out on the road and when I return I have a marathon TV run. My other days consist of cleaning, working out, playing poker, and nap time. I also make sure I get out to the record store as well. I really haven’t changed my routine as I got older. I was always an old soul. That’s probably why I had hit my sexual peak before my thirties.

Being a young porn performer is an early erosion of life. You’re going to see things that are supposed to be spaced out over a long period of time. You’re going to be flooded with money, sex and the illusion of fame. Before you know it that life is gone and you’ll have to adjust back to who you really are. The word “staying grounded” through the sex drugs and rock-n-roll is a hard phrase to uphold. When you hear that some internet model calls herself a porn star it makes me laugh. There’s a lot more than the sex that makes you different. It’s the entertainers’ lifestyle. Making porn with your friends doesn’t cut it. You’re a long way away from our lives. Most people wish I was the other girl they knew from porn.-lol-You either let it become your life or you fight through the phase. For me I wasn’t into the party scene so once I broke the porn bad habits I found myself appreciating the boring me. Music was always the center piece for who I was.
