> girth peso writes on ADT: My local nyc porn store has a lot of hardcore fans of porn. Just yesterday, i heard one of the regulars pissed off about Corporate Porn. He said it was killing quality.
Who are the corporate Porn? is it Vivid, Redlight, or Evil Angel, or any other well known company.
Who are the MOM n' Pop Porn companies?
AND WHO SHOULD THE CONSUMERS SUPPORT TO ERASE THE PORN GLUT?
> Eril Everhard responds: I personally feel the need to respond to this post due to what i have noticed in the industry the last 10 years. The problem with porn, and we can call it corporate porn, is that most of the owners are not pornographers, they are business men. They're sole interest in porno is to make as much money as they possibly can off the backs of everyone else.
They really should not even be allowed in this business but they are here, they have no idea how to make a movie and for the most part have never ever even watched one. They assume that their "brand recognition" is all that matters, even though they didn't play a role in creating that brand.
Pinklight is a perfect example of this. The brand was created by vince vouyer, myself, and mike john. Our movies had a certain look to them that now people "try" to duplicate. The owners there have never watched any of the product that they put out, they don't care, it's only dollars and cents. Numerous companies fit this exact same mold, owners hear there is money in porno and want to exploit it. I've worked for numerous companies and only 2 ever watched the movies i put out, john stagliano and jules jordan. Real pornographers. If there were more pornographer owners there would be less crap out there, both men are self sufficient, they release their own movies and don't rely off the work of others to make their money, and they understand what it takes to make a movie and can give constructive feedback because they watch everything.

She was 18 and doing drugs at the time, and it just goes to show that 18 year olds can't be trusted to make decisions at gunpoint.
She's retired now, so I'm not going to name her, nor the director (who some people don't like). The movie with that scene in it came out though, definitely, but I'm not going to say the title or the company that put it out.
True story.
> Hairy Potter replies: You seem very concerned yet you want to protect the identity of someone that did this repugnant thing? This seems like something you may want to give details of so a boycott can ensue! I do not think people who use guns to get anal should have their identity protected.
That is all.
> Swede writes on ADT: I just read that Katsumi is going to change her performer name to Katsuni
I think it's because her company (Digital playground) wants to copywright her name, and there is some stupid vietnamese nail salon chain called Katsumi.
I don't think that Katsuni doesn't sound as good as Katsumi. I wish that that fucking nail salon chain could change name instead.
> Tricia Devereaux writes on ADT: Possibly the stupidest thing i've read in a while, and that's a hard title to claim in this business.
Katsumi, I think you're so sweet, but none of this makes real sense.
> Laurie Cameron Fan writes: if the salon is a registered trade mark and covered all classes than Digital Playground can't register her stage name as it is now , it is the same thing if an actress wants to call herself McDonald maybe she can but can't register that name as a trade mark since it has been already.
> rc7394 writes: I say she ought to sue Digital Playground. It's girls like her that give the company any credibility.
Digital Playground doesn't know how to make movies anyway. They can't shoot scenes correctly. All you see through most of the scene is no more than 1/5 of the woman at any one time. That's a real turnon. They ought to take some serious lessons from 3rd Degree or Zero Tolerance.
In the "Big Tits" series Robby D. zooms in on the breasts during the entire scene. Check out Texas Presley in "Jack's Big Tit Show" and tell me how much of her you see. The camera is about 6" from her breasts during most of the scene. Robby D. said that was a fetish series and that's why he did it. They don't even know the meaning of the word "fetish".
The original McDonalds is Lord McDonald in the U.K. His family was around way before McDonalds Hamburgers was ever established. "60 Minutes" ran a story on that in the 1980's after McDonald's Hamburgers didn't want any other Restaurants or Retailers in Central London with the name "McDonald" other than themselves.
> Gregory Black posts on www.xxxporntalk.com: I am just sharing my experience in order to help whoever wants it. Since I began focusing on making the models feel more sexy and going for higher quality I have have had less problems.
I think it is safe to say that many of us on this board are instantly at a disadvantage with more experienced talent simply because we are not considered to be at the top of the industry. So many times models have shown up and I hear them talking about how great so an so is or "*fill in blank of famous producer* is really good".
Or "well this does not have to look that good because it is internet". Yes, one model actually said this to the male talent as I was setting up! I wanted to fucking throw a fit but I managed to stay calm.
So some girl shoots for the glorius Evil Angel and the next day she goes to a shoot for someone she has never heard of. I bet you when she showed up for the Evil Angel shoot she was ready to give the scene of her life but when she shows up for the unknown guy she is thinking that she is too good for that company.
So what I have done is tried to find ways to win the girls over. Anyone of us can shoot higher quality than lots of these more famous guys.
What I do is take some photos and show them to the model and that tends to get me some more respect and make her feel like giving a better scene.
> Michael Payne posts on PSP:I believe it's absurd to assume that a model must qualify the videographer/ photographer in order to give a better performance. Once a girl agrees to perform in a scene, she has to do what she is paid to do in a proper way, regardless of how great of a star she thinks she is, something which in this case can be measured by the number of people who jerk off to her fuck videos. Since she doesn't pay from her pocket to produce the scene, and she doesn't hold the camera either, so what qualifies her to qualify anybody?!
If you pay for a job, you deserve and expect to get what you paid for. When a girl walks to my set, I expect her to leave the drug junkie boy friend drama, personal life bullshit, and any other distractions (including narcissistic, self-obsessive images) at home, and give me what I'm paying her for. If she comes to do business, then let's do business. If my project and my money is not worth her time and qualities, whatever those qualities are, then she better decline my offer in the first place. There are no two ways about this.
> Headzebra writes on PSP: Yes, it it obvious that a model will pose better if she THINKS she is going to get some good stills or look beautiful. But the reality is, you are hiring a model to a (porn) job. Period, end of story, glamor mainstream or hardcore gonzo. Think about where we would be if we have to wait around for all models to decide they wanted to work because they thought they were going to look beautiful on film.
We would all be on Monster.com looking for new jobs! Geez, I wonder what the folks over at meat holes or bangbros think about that one.
At the end of the day, if a model feels uncomfortable about shooting a certain scene or act, (especially if it has been agreed upon before the shoot) then you can always call up the agency and send her (popular ass) home. There is far too much good, quality talent in the valley to wait around on some model (regardless of how popular or how many cheerleaders she may have) to start working harder because she thinks she is going to look good, while doing a porn video.
