Russ Meyer was talking about his film, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” And Talk on the Internet is that Quentin Tarantino’s looking to cast Tera Patrick in the Tura Santana [pictured] role in a remake.

Santana was a burlesque queen. The two other women cast in the movie were Haji and Lori Williams who appeared in a number of Elvis movies as eye candy.

Upon reading the original script, Santana told Meyer the film had to have a little more balls. That comment won her the part.

“For the first time on screen we will see a woman kill a man with her bare hands,” Meyer said adding to the hype. But in the end Meyer had to conclude that the black and white film which came out in 1966, was a commercial dud.

“People complained when I didn’t show Tura Santana’s big tits naked,” Meyer recalled sadly.

Meyer got the name of the movie from the popularity of What’s New Pussycat a film starring Peter O’Toole and Woody Allen.
