Australia- A FORMER computer porn king who became addicted to drugs has pleaded guilty in a Brisbane court to possessing heroin.

Greg Shiraz Lasrado, 35, of Kenmore Hills, in Brisbane's west, pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Magistrates' Court today to one count of possession of a dangerous drug on February 16 this year.

This was after the prosecution dropped another possession charge.

Defence barrister Chris Wilson successfully applied for an adjournment in order to obtain references and other material, and Lasrado's bail was extended until he is sentenced next Monday.

Lasrado was arrested at his home in possession of five grams of heroin in February.

At the time, he was injecting $4500 worth of heroin every day.

In the 1990s Lasrado built a web of more than 50 internet-related companies in Australia and overseas, earning him up to an estimated $10 million a year.

He owned luxury houses and drove a $500,000 black Lamborghini before his businesses went into receivership.
