If you think of BitTorrent attorneys as an annoying cough that just won’t go away, you haven’t heard the full story of West Virginia attorney Kenneth J. Ford and whether he can or cannot practice law. With Ford it doesn’t seem to make a difference one way or the other.
As of the end of last year, Ford, who once specialized in ambulance and whiplash cases, was filing BitTorrent lawsuits on behalf of porn companies at a record pace. In a course of two weeks Ford had filed 16,700 copyright suits.
