I released 4 DVD’s in January, one DVD this month, and have one more coming out next month. I am leaning towards the idea that this will be the last content that I release on DVD.

I am amazed how many traditional DVD producers and companies have failed to grasp the concept that the DVD business is dead, and that Blu-Ray is not going to save it.

“We just came to an agreement to go our separate ways,” he said. “She had a lot more that she wanted to do; for example, she wants to do a lot more internet, and we’re just not there yet.”

Wilson said Third Degree is “finally turning the corner” in its plans for future growth, with an emphasis on hi-def and interactive productions to be released on Blu-ray disc.

“Blu-ray is more conducive to the quality we’re doing [than standard DVD],” said Wilson. “We have four HD DVDs out now, so we’ll reissue those in Blu-ray. We hope to do at least one every other month, between us and [sister studio] Zero Tolerance. We’ll see what the schedule allows.”
