Porn Valley- Major league baseball used to feature Sunday doubleheaders. Not no more. But here's the one I attended yesterday.

In the opener, Naughty Modeling, www.naughtymodelingxxx.com offered an open house Sunday afternoon. Press guys could come in and chat up the girls in the Naughty Modeling stable which is run by Tim Myren. What a concept, I'm telling Dr. X who's involved in setting this whole thing up. A talent agency actually making its girls available in an organized setting besides having sandwiches available in the refrigerator. Girls, sandwiches. Girls, sandwiches. Tough choice.

Nude photos were available upon request, but one of the girls figured it out by walking around naked the whole time. This is Robyn, a pretty dark haired girl with a great body. It's Robyn's first day in the business and gauging by some genuine apprehension in her eyes, it might be her last. But who knows. Robyn's telling me she'd prefer to be a print model but I'm also hearing talk that she's not necessarily leaving her day job. I also run into Gabriella Banks and we talk a bit about the scene she did for Skeeter Kerkove, www.bkmak.com two days earlier. Banks worked with Chris Charming but Banks is frank in telling me this wasn't one of her better days. Banks is amused by Charming's name, indicating that there may have been less than a preferred love connection.

Jaime and I also talked a little about the scene she shot with Scott Lyons for Skeeter http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=8341, Jaime indicating that she was truly nervous because it was one of her first scenes. Jaime is from Oregon where they seem to breed adorable women. I've met a ton of girls in the industry from that area. Ava Ramone is also from there and remembers some enthralling comments I made about her ass during a Cytherea Productions shoot. Ramone is a former bikini model which is pretty obvious since she's walking around in a bikini. And then I have to ask Kat about the time Scott Nails' penis got caught in her braces. Kat remembers the incident quite well, half embarrassed, half laughing in the recall.

The event is scheduled to run till 6 pm, but I leave to have a dinner chat with Tommy Gunn and company at Jerry's Deli in Woodland Hills. Gunn, who's wearing a Frank Sinatra snap brim and a Hawaiian shirt, brings along webmaster Bill Fox and an entourage to include Eva Angelina, Annie Cruz, Jack Lawrence and Reina Leone. Lawrence, a former cop, is talking about holding a party to invite "nice porn people". I'm thinking of telling Lawrence, no, hold a party for the pricks in the business. That way you'll get better soundbites.

Lawrence is commenting how he wishes he had gotten into the business 20 years ago. Gunn, who is turning 38, says it took him four years to make up his mind that this was the right decision for himself. Gunn first came out to California about four years ago along with a girl who shot for Brad Armstrong. Gunn had a resultant conversation with Armstrong and asked some questions about the business and how would he go about getting into it. Gunn stayed in touch, talked to Armstrong every few months then made a decision to come out to AEE. Armstrong, who told him he doesn't do shit to get people in the business, introduced him around and the rest is history.

Gunn, who comes across as a very sincere man with a colorful if not inspiring story to tell, is saying that porn turned his life around. Gunn was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and grew up in Northeast Philly. When I tell him how I used to go clubbing in Cherry Hill, Gunn mentions Valentino's, a disco reputedly owned by the Gambinos. Valentino's. I got some stories about Valentino's.

This is the first time I've had a face-to-face with Tommy Gunn. I first saw him at Porn Star Karaoke and was trying to figure out where I knew this guy from. In conversation, Gunn makes a comment that hits the mark. He states that now he's been doing porn movies with dialogue, he wouldn't mind a crack at a mainstream film, just for the experience if nothing else. Then I make the connection. As soon as I tell Gunn - you know who you look like- Gunn mentions the Clint Eastwood movie, Any Which Way You Can which features Hollywood tough guy Bill Smith. Gunn says he gets that all the time- his resemblance to Smith.

Gunn is currently shooting the Adam & Eve pirate movie, talking about wearing a white contact lenses to give him that pirate squint. But when Gunn starts to give an arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh to his dialogue, he's told to tone it down, not to talk like a pirate.

Gunn's also telling a funny story about doing a scene with a company contract girl who tells him that she has a policy against having an orgasm on set. In another one of life's ironies, Gunn mentions that he'll be working with Janine this week and talks about how years ago in Florida he was manufacturing bikinis and had given a pair to Blondage when they were appearing at a local club. As if to say, go figure that he'd one day be working with Janine.

Gunn and Lawrence are discussing weight training, and Gunn is telling Lawrence about this growth hormone he's been taking that not only is it smoothing out his face but shredding his body to bits, that in three months Lawrence could have the same results. Gunn's saying that he forks out something like $500 a month to keep up with this regimen. Gunn's been getting advice not to train heavy any more, that he's one step away from having a freakazoid body. So Gunn's been toning it down, training for reps.

Meanwhile, Fox is doing four sets of six with a scrambled egg pizza. I'm telling Fox I've never heard of a scrambled egg pizza but Fox apparently discovered it on the Jerry's menu.

I've heard that in three months, it'll smooth out your muscles like you wouldn't believe.
