Las Vegas – I spoke to Bridgette Monroe and Selena Steele Thursday night. The duo, who are emceeing the Legends of Erotica Show, www.xxxdeepthroat.com Friday night at Ray Pistol’s Showgirl Video, were busy putting together wreaths to honor the late Jim Holliday.
“We’re making one for the boys and one for the girls,” Monroe told me. “I put some film on there and painted it blue for a blue movie.” Monroe said she and Steele were shopping for other symbolic trinkets to place on the wreaths as well. Steele said they bought two wreaths figuring that a lot of people would want to include their farewell gestures to the porn historian.
“The one for the girls is pink flowers because he [Holliday] always made us wear hot pink fingernail and toe polish. I did that in pink roses. The other is white roses with blue-ish, purple ribbons. Bill Margold is including a teddy bear that Jim gave him. Steele says that Margold also wrote a Holliday eulogy in the LA Xpress. “It has some pictures of Jim’s favorite movies. I’m going to cut those out and put them in little packets so they can go on the wreath, too. It’s going to be really personalized.” Steele also took the time to sew an Indian moccasin. “I got a little kit to make a baby moccasin.”
