NY [www.howardstern.com ]Amy Fisher stopped by to promote her sex tape, and Howard laughed about how big her new boobs were.
Everyone noted that Amy seemed really nervous, and she admitted she was a little scared. Howard and Robin asked if people always confront Amy in the street, but Amy said people were generally pretty nice to her. Howard wondered what Amy’s motivation was with the sex tape, but Amy had no answer, claiming she hadn’t even watched it.
Howard told Amy that she was going to be plagued by the tape for the rest of her life, and Amy replied, “Some people will always like you and some people will always hate you.”
Jessica Buttafuoco, Mary Jo’s daughter, then called in. Despite Amy’s protests, Howard took the call anyway, so Amy left the studio. Howard noted that Amy’s interview might have been the shortest he’d ever done, and Jessica complained that Amy was profiting off an attempted murder.
Later, Amy’s husband, Lou, called in to admonish Howard for “ambushing” Amy when she was just trying to have a good time. Howard explained that his decision to take Jessica Buttafuoco’s call was an effort to make the interview interesting, but Lou claimed Amy had already made peace with the Buttafucco family. Howard didn’t believe the story, citing the negative statements Amy made about Mary Jo in a recent interview in another publication.
Gary pointed out that Amy would always have to answer questions about shooting Mary Jo, as it was this incident that made her a household name in the first place. Howard asked Lou about the weird “Daddy” play exhibited in the sex tape, and Lou explained that he thought everyone loves to “play” in the bedroom.
Howard played several clips of the tape’s dirty talk sequences for Lou and asked him to explain them, but Lou would only say it was “fantasy” or “foreplay.” A caller then asked if Lou and Amy have anal sex, but Lou’s answer was just a series of threats.
