LEVIS, Quebec – from www.thestar.com -—A high school office assistant who moonlighted as a porn actress has been fired for her extracurricular activities.

The woman, whose porn moniker was Samantha Ardente, was suspended last month from the Quebec City-area high school after a student spotted her in a porn video on the Internet.

School board officials fired Ardente on Thursday after they were unable to reach agreement on her transfer to another job.

Board chairman Leopold Castonguay called Ardente’s actions “unacceptable.”

The school board says her cinematic activities don’t correspond with the values being taught at the school.

She says she will appeal the board’s decision to let her go.

Ardente told Montreal radio station 98.5 she offered to immediately stop her pornography career.

Ardente had been a school-board employee for nine years.
