Queens- The Queens sicko accused of raping, sodomizing and abusing at least seven children told cops he attacked even more kids – and claimed his tiny victims enjoyed the abuse, law enforcement sources said yesterday.

“I never forced them to do anything they didn’t want to,” Michael Flory told cops, the sources said.

“I really couldn’t help myself,” he added, sources said.

Flory, 48, an out-of-work auto mechanic with no prior criminal history, was arrested Friday.

Authorities were trying to track down more of his victims yesterday, as the stunned parents of children who played in his Queens house expressed relief over his arrest.

“He’s going to jail, and that’s it. They’re safe now,” said the father of a 10-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl who frequently spent time at Flory’s College Point home.

“Everything’s okay,” said the father, who asked not to be named. “We just want to forget about this.”

Flory’s arrest has sent shock waves through the working-class community where he lived until recently with his fiancée and three children.

Kids in the College Point neighborhood adored Flory and would often flock around his silver van, shouting, “Mr. Mike! Mr. Mike!” said a rattled mother of two who lived on the block.

“If anybody knew, they would have skinned him alive,” she said, noting Flory’s “nice guy” exterior made him all the more dangerous.

“That’s why they’re predators, because you never know,” she said. “You’ve got to watch your kids because there’s sickos everywhere.”

Neighbors said Flory routinely offered to drive children to school and volunteered to fix cars for those in a bind. He appeared to be a churchgoing family man.

The Rev. Linda Burlew, pastor of the First Reformed Church of College Point, said Flory attended services weekly with his fianc̩e and her two children Рages 11 and 8 Рfor the past four years. The couple also have a 4-year-old son together.

“We always marveled that they got the kids dressed [up] and sitting in the front of church,” Burlew said.

“We’re still trying to figure this out, grapple with it and get our minds around it.”

Burlew emphasized that Flory had no church duties with children.

“He would go to coffee hour, he’d talk to adults, and his kids would play with other kids,” she said.

After cops arrested Flory at his new home in West Hempstead, L.I., he told investigators that he believes there is nothing wrong with adults having sex with children, law enforcement sources said.

In West Hempstead, where Flory moved with his family about two weeks ago, news of his arrest sickened neighbors.

“It’s like a bomb that comes down on you,” said a 36-year-old mother who lives a few doors down the street.

“I’m scared,” she said. “I’m locking every door and window. You have kids and you panic, even though he’s not here anymore.”

Flory faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted of multiple charges of first-degree rape and other sex crimes.

He was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation yesterday to determine whether he’s a suicide risk and has been ordered held in protective custody.

But neighbors still worried that he could be released on bail later.

“If I see him go anywhere near my kids – fuhgeddaboudit,” said a 35-year-old father of a 4-year-old girl and a 1-1/2-year-old boy.

A mother added: “Hopefully, he won’t come back.”
