New York- Although Chyna, aka Joanie Laurer, claims she’s never seen a dime from it, Red Light District got a gazillion dollars worth of publicity for its One Night in China tape on the Howard Stern Show this morning. Among other things, Laurer had it out on the air with former boyfriend, wrestler Sean Waltman. Laurer and Waltman have sex on the tape, but since then, the relationship between the two has been more like Harry Weiss and Jon Finberg.

The first thing Stern noticed is that Laurer had lost some weight. “It looks like you’ve changed your whole body around.” Laurer said she had come all the way to New York to promote The Surreal Life. “You know me that I’m real and you’ve been a big supporter of me,” said Laurer. Noting that Laurer was wearing a headband and face glitter, Stern asked her why. “This is four my dogs in the Fourth Battalion,” said Laurer referring to something about chemical-biological men that she’s arm wrestled in Iraq. “I told them to come back and kick ass that I’d be waiting for them here.” She continued to blabber about something and Stern said he had no idea what she was talking about. “I don’t know what you just said.” Finally Laurer explained that it was her “war paint”.
It was Stern’s opinion that Laurer looked “more feminine” with the weight loss. Laurer said she’s been training with Martial Arts. “And I’ve had a hard time eating through depression and a lot of things that have been going on with my life. But I’m very healthy.” That’s when Laurer mentioned her stay at The Twin Towers and jail cells in Los Angeles. Laurer then started relating another story and completely lost Stern. “Let me have a few drinks and catch up to you,” he said. “Because this is great.” Laurer started talking about Missy Cunningham and someone getting a foot rub. “She was a fire girl and I’m not supposed to say her name,” said Laurer when asked who Cunningham was. “Because she kicked me out of rent for six months after I gave her all my money,” Laurer added, making no sense whatsoever.
“Let me organize this conversation,” said Stern with Laurer now sounding like a porn star attempting to relate a story for a porno gossip site. Explaining that Cunningham was in some Carmen Elektra DVD, Laurer continued to ask Stern if he would rub Cunningham’s feet or not. Stern said he didn’t think so, because he didn’t know who that was. Stern complained that he could not follow a word of what Laurer was trying to say. And it was Stern’s opinion from watching Surreal Life that Laurer was heavy into the sauce. “Are you now into alcohol big time?”
Laurer said no but that she wanted to party and was tired of being the designated driver. Stern assumed that it was Laurer’s rebellion against the discipline that she had to exhibit during the WWF. “Now you want to go out and live a different kind of life.” Laurer said she’s done a lot of drugs including coke. “I love it.” But Laurer says she doesn’t have a problem with it though she won’t do it around others. “They take everything plus the kitchen sink and it’s cost a real hardship in my life. I’d rather do without it. I don’t need it. I’d rather do karaoke.”
But Lauer also admitted that if a line were placed in front of her, she’d do it right there. “Do you have any, Howard?”Stern got the impression that Laurer was depressed. Laurer said she wrestled for ten years and got an awful lot of criticism for her efforts. “They criticized me and they hurt me. And I was doing it for the women just to give them power. I knew that other women would never be like me, but I wanted them to feel strength and feel power.”
Laurer said the domestic violence issue really hurt. “I just spent six days in Twin Towers and that’s not a very fun prison to be in.” Laurer corrected the notion that she beat Waltman up. “I bitch slapped him.” Laurer said something to the effect that only she was arrested. “If you both press charges then they send you both to jail. But I wouldn’t press charges against him.” Laurer said she refused to, only wanting Waltman removed from her property.
Stern said he saw the porn tape. “You had pimples on your ass on the tape.” Stern said he counted six big ones. Laurer then said something about Waltman having been with other porn stars but she didn’t know about it. Laurer said she loved Waltman and was going to marry him. Stern was curious what brought the issue to blows. Laurer explained that after a month of being together, Waltman wanted to take her home to his family for Thanksgiving. “His ex wife or soon to be ex wife was going to be there. I said go have your dinner with your family, your ex-wife, your kids, be good and there’ll be plenty more to come.”
Laurer said Waltman then beat the crap out of her and she gave him his ring back. “Two and a half years later I have the same problems.” It was after Laurer got off on another tangent about O.J. Simpson and Samsonite product endorsements, that Stern said he needed a drink from listening to her.
Waltman then got on the phone and tried to get a word in edgewise. Sounding very emotional, Waltman advised Laurer “to come back down to the real world, for crissake.”
Waltman asked Laurer if she had any idea of the ass she was making of herself. Laurer then blamed Waltman for working a video deal behind her back.
Waltman said he didn’t. “Sean, you’re piece of crap,” said Laurer who told Waltman that when he gets his big royalty check from the WWE to tell them she wants her royalty “ass-kissing” checks as well. “I’ve got about a billion dollars coming my way from cue sticks to bowling balls to dolls. Just fans who support me.” Waltman said what was tragic was the fact that Laurer didn’t realize how she sounds to everyone. Waltman explained that he was in rehab the last time Laurer was on the show. “I thought this video tape was destroyed and I heard her on there talking about it…” Laurer kept interrupting him. Waltman said he had no problem with the world knowing he had been in rehab. Laurer said she wouldn’t go back to the relationship and Waltman said it was fine with him as well.
Waltman said he never laid a hand on Laurer. “She made an ass of herself in front of my children and other people.” Laurer then asked Waltman who paid for the rehab. Waltman said it was Vince McMahon and Triple HHH. Laurer continued to babble out of context stating that Walton can kill his body and maybe they’ll pay for another rehab. Waltman said it saved his life and repeated that he had never been abusive towards her. Waltman said prior to Laurer doing Surreal Life she broke his nose when he told her about a sexual relationship he had four years prior.
When asked, Waltman said he loved Laurer but that it didn’t mean he would get back with her. In a crossfire of conversation, Laurer mentioned something about being jumped in jail and Waltman staying at her house while she was in prison. Stern asked Waltman what prompted him to fall in love with Laurer in the first place.
“We had always been good friends,” he said. “And when I quit working for WWE I came to LA to live. We saw each other. We fell in love.” Waltman claims he also cautioned Laurer not to get involved with him because of baggage he brought to the table. “I said all my crap from the past. I laid it all on the line for her.” Laurer started talking about the ring he gave her and Waltman said it was pathetic that she was bringing all of it out.
Laurer continued to air the laundry about WWE allegedly screwing her over and how she wound up taking care of Waltman’s kids. Waltman said Laurer would blow pot smoke in his 9 year-old daughter’s face and that some “gay guy” she was running around with tried to get his son to smoke pot as well. Stern asked Waltman if it was embarrassing for him that he had to call 911 when Laurer hit him. Waltman said after she landed a punch he flipped her over on a couch informing her that he could break her arm if he wanted to. “But I’m not going to. I’ve never hit a woman.”
Laurer went on babbling about how she’s the number one female fighter in the world and has power in her hands. “But I would never hurt anybody.” It was about this time that Stern threw his hands up and surrendered the fact that he was losing control of the show.
A female caller-in told Laurer she was either on drugs or was drinking a lot. “You have no idea what you sound like.” Laurer told the woman she was welcome to Waltman who’s a porno star now. “He’s the real deal. He’s all yours.” Lauer said she was very hurt about the release of the One Night in China video and hasn’t seen dime one. “And I probably won’t because I can’t deal with that type of, you know…”
Asked if she blew pot in the face of Waltman’s kid, Laurer said absolutely not. “Why would I do that?” Lauer continued to ramble about how she likes partying and how Vince McMahon has created a “gladiator system”. Laurer said she would never go back to McMahon. “My respect means more than that to me.” Laurer started talking about deals McMahon has with Playboy and various publishing houses, suggesting that with all that on the table she’d never be swayed.
