from www.nydailynews.com - A blond stunner whose sex harassment allegations forced the resignation of Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd says she's sorry he lost his job.

Former actress Jodie Fisher, 50, said she knew Hurd through jobs with HP's marketing department from 2007 to 2009.

She earned up to $5,000 per event to organize HP functions and then greet and introduce executives.

"I was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job over this," Fisher said in a statement. "That was never my intention."

Fisher appeared in a few R-rated movies and most recently was on a dating show called "Age of Love," in which beauties competed for the attention of tennis star Mark Philippoussis.

She has also worked as a saleswoman and an executive at a commercial real estate company.

Her lawyer Gloria Allred, who is also said to be representing actor Mel Gibson's alleged mistress, portrayed Fisher as a single mother who is "focused on raising her young son."

Fisher stressed that she and Hurd never had a sexual relationship, but refused to discuss details of the harassment claim.

Her allegations led to the discovery of falsified expense reports for dinners Hurd had with Fisher and resulted in Hurd's forced resignation Friday.

Fisher acknowledged that she and Hurd have settled the matter.

A source told The Associated Press that Hurd agreed to pay Fisher but would not reveal the size of the payment.

Hurd settled with Fisher on Thursday, a day before he resigned. The settlement did not involve a payment from HP, the person close to the case said.

from www.thesun.co.uk - A PORN actress was at the centre of a sex scandal that forced Hewlett-Packard boss Mark Hurd to quit, it has emerged.

Blonde Jodie Fisher, 50, who has appeared in softcore flicks including Intimate Obsession and Sheer Passion, said she was "saddened" Hurd had lost his job with the computer giant.

She earned up to $5,000 per event to host HP functions and greet and introduce executives.

An investigation was launched when she made sexual harassment allegations about married chief executive Hurd, 53.

He was cleared of wrongdoing, but the probe allegedly revealed he had falsified expense reports to conceal a "close personal relationship" with the actress.

Hurd's resignation immediately wiped $10billion (£6billion) off the value of the company.

Saddened

Fisher, who also appeared in a reality dating show called Age of Love, today expressed her regret over what happened.

She said: "I was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job over this.

"That was never my intention."

She added: "Mark and I never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship.

"I first met Mark in 2007 when I interviewed for a contractor job at the company.

"At HP, I was under contract to work at high-level customer and executive summit events held around the country and abroad.
