Los Angeles- “Simple Life” star Nicole Richie is pregnant, according to reports.

TMZ.com claims to have confirmed that the tiny fashionista is having a baby, as does In Touch Weekly magazine.

“Nicole didn’t want to tell anyone until she was past three months,” a “pal” reportedly told In Touch. “She really kept the news from everyone.”

Richie has been dating Joel Madden, the frontman of the rock group Good Charlotte, for over six months.

In Touch is reporting that the couple will marry this summer.

Richie, the 25-year-old daughter of pop singer Lionel Richie, pleaded not guilty in February to misdemeanor driving under the influence.

She was arrested on DUI charges last Decemeber, when she was discovered driving the wrong way on a California highway.

The case against Richie also contains an allegation she had a prior misdemeanor DUI conviction in June 2003.

The California vehicle code says if convicted of DUI twice within 10 years, a person can be sentenced to between 90 days and a year in jail and have his or her driving privileges suspended.

Her trial is set for July 11.
