LOS ANGELES — Adult actress and acclaimed fan favorite Ryder Skye is slated to appear on the syndicated talk show “Maury” this week.

Skye, who appeared in “The Artist,” “Once Upon a Crime” and “Carmen Goes South,” will detail her career in the adult entertainment industry — in the best possible light — during her appearance on the show. She will also address last month’s Details Magazine article, titled “What if Your Wife Were a Porn Star?” which she feels misrepresented her marriage.

“I’ve always enjoyed being involved in the adult entertainment industry,” Skye said. “While this is a business run on sex and nudity, there’s no reason why it has to be degraded by societal bias.”

Skye’s episode will air on Oct. 22.
