JEFFERSON CITY, ALA. – A former exotic dancer has sued Sammy’s Management Co. for defamation and misappropriation of her likeness, in Jefferson County Court. Kim Jones says that when she worked for Sammy’s as an exotic dancer in 1997 she allowed it to use her photo on a calendar.

Eight years later, she said the defendant is using her photo on billboards without her consent, including one with the words “Now showing” on it. She claims this has damaged and embarrassed her and makes it harder for her to find work. She is represented by James Wettermark.
