Porn Valley - Seymour Satin posts: It's almost a full year (July) since the PSK has been established at Sardo's and the entire staff is extremely grateful that our place was chosen. In this time period, we have become friends with a vast majority of the group.
We don't look upon Tuesdays as everyone in the Porn Industry as porn stars or clients, we look upon everyone coming in as part of the Sardo's family. If someone new was to walk in on a Tuesday evening and view all the hugs that occur, it's from the heart and the friendships that have been established from going to outside events and socializing in and outside the Sardo's walls.
The entire staff has been every supportive of the Porn Industry. We have been donating the door charge that is collected each Tuesday to the Adult Fund that was established by Jenna Jameson to assist the HIV positive individuals and we will continue to do so.
Sardo's would like to express its sincere apology to Kurt and anyone else that this situation might have offended. From the title of the article Gene wrote, http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=4187, this had nothing to do with the waitresses. This was a comment of one bartender. This bartender has been suspended from working on Tuesday nights for an indefinite period of time.
The waitresses of Sardo's deal primarily with the industry folks and the bartenders deal primarily with the walk ins that have come to see the stars. Very few porn personalities come to the bar and order drinks. When the comment was made about tipping and referred to the porn industry, it wasn't directed at the porn industry but the walk ins. It was a very bad choice of words and for that even being said is the reason for the suspension. You just don't say those things about any anyone at any time! I do need to state that this bartender in question is one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my lifetime with one of the biggest hearts. She is very sorry that this situation happened and also offers an apology to Kurt and anyone else this might have offended.
