More than merely porn's eminence grise, who has offered an articulate defense of his industry in many a cable news forum, Jeremy has proven to be a shrewd businessman, adept at coming out on top in the country's comical game of Celebrity Obsession. Jeremy, a k a The Hedgehog, plays the clown prince of porn to the hilt -- the Boogie Nights mustache, the shiny suit or Hawaiian shirt -- and smirks all the way to the bank. As another celebrity jester would say: Winning.
Really, who wouldn't want to have a drink with Ron Jeremy? That's exactly what he thought. And, so, this year he came out with Ron de Jeremy Rum. Dubbed "the adult rum," on his Ron de Jeremy website, Jeremy describes the 7-year-old Panamanian rum as "long and smooth" and "perfect naked."
OK, fine. But it's not a joke. Poke around and you'll find most online reviewers give it good marks. It retails for about $35.
The website also has some funny interactive recipes hosted by a tuxedo-ed Jeremy and "served" by sultry bartenders. It's pure Hedgehog.

The Ronarina
2 oz. Ron de Jeremy Rum
1/2 large Lime
2 tbsp. powdered (confectioner's) sugar
Crushed ice
Cut the ends off a large lime. Cut lime in half, then cut one of the halves into 4 pieces. Add lime pieces to a glass, add two tablespoons of powdered sugar and use a pestle to squeeze all the juice out of the lime pieces (do not break the lime peel). Fill the glass with crushed ice and add 2 ounces of Ron de Jeremy and stir.
