NORRISTOWN, Pa -- Two suspects arrested on charges stemming from the murder of Canadian adult film actress Natel King will have separate trials.
Montgomery County Judge William T. Nicholas has signed an order severing the case against Lower Providence photographer Anthony J. Frederick from the case against his short-time assistant, Jennifer Mitkus.
The order is in response to a petition filed by county Chief Public Defender Carolyn T. Carluccio, who is representing Mitkus. In that petition, Carluccio claimed her client would be prejudiced in a joint trial.
