Los Angeles, CA – Industry veteran, and friend to many, Sherri Holloway has completed the formation of GFD Sales and Distribution.
GFD Distribution holds the exclusive rights to the distribution of the following production companies: Abigail Productions, Julie Simone Productions, Madison Bound Productions, Pink Box Productions, DWS, and Varla Vex Productions as well as Belleza Video. Holloway will look to provide a new home to other productions companies.
“I am absolutely thrilled to bring to light what has been an exhausting effort on the part of everyone involved, to create a fresh and exciting new distribution company with incredible people,” says Holloway.
The distribution company’s tag line, “What Women Want”, refers not only to the vast roster of lesbian themed titles, but also the high quality fetish, BDSM and boy/girl titles available through the company that are made by and respectful of a woman’s growing place in the adult industry – both as producer and customer. The companies distributed under GFD put a definite emphasis on quality, and many productions are shot with 3 cameras, on real film, on HD and with an all woman crew.
The company releases approximately 8 titles a month and hopes to expand to more titles in the near future.
GFD Distribution began as an offshoot of Girlfriends Films, which also came to distribute a variety of other production companies. After over 10 years of operation, Girlfriends Films decided to take their distribution back in house, and taking the name of their company back as well.
Thus, the creation by Holloway of GFD Distribution.
Prior to the new company, Holloway founded Abigail Productions 2004. Abigail Productions was created as a forum to represent lesbian porn with quality and honesty and where the directing team can showcase lesbian erotic experiences and sexual fantasies for everyone to identify with and where all viewers are encouraged to enjoy the art of erotica. Today, Abigail Productions stands for quality, sensual chemistry while being drenched with authentic sexual experiences.
