Porn Valley- Michelle Maylene's sitting in the makeup chair- but there really isn't much work involved. Maylene, [pictured left] who's with LA Direct Models, is nature's gift to dolldom without the usual glamour gal artifice and ceremonial troweling on of pancake.
Maylene's face and figure have also put her pretty ass in the front seat of an upper tier Mercedes. She's having a conversation with Robert Lombard and is talking about some body work she needs- not for herself, but her car. Maylene mentions the deal she got on a lease and Lombard whistles- it's a sweet one he tells her. Maylene reveals how much she put on a down payment to get that sweet deal. And that's where porn girls differ from you and I. The money.
From the sounds of things, Maylene might be contract-bound as well. Whatever, Lombard likes the look Maylene brings to a cable production. Lombard's telling her that HBO turns down a lot of the porn girls simply because they get too tarted up whereas Maylene has this natural beauty. Which of course, sounds like a bullshit line but Lombard's being sincere. And Michelle seems quite happy with the role she's been given in Sinsations: Skinflick the movie that's being shot over three days in Encino. She gets to play a bitchy porn star, and Maylene's into her character like Anna Nicole Smith's into inheritance lawsuits.
Maylene's also been play-flirting two days with Nick Lambert, vice president of Dusk Till Dawn Entertainment, www.dusktilldawnentertainment.com. Lambert, the handsome son of company head Walt Lambert, is going to be setting up an LA office for the company which is based in New York.
Nick tells Robert Lombard that Ava Vincent's going to be one of his specialty projects. Good luck, Lombard tells him. "She ages me."

Then Lombard casually reminds her wasn't that your boyfriend John Decker who threatened my life one time. Vincent says that's because Decker, who she'd help shoot his penis up in a latrine, thought Vincent and Lombard were having an affair.
Meanwhile, Maylene keeps calling Walt Lambert her father-in-law. And New Yorker, Walt Lambert, on first glance isn't the kind of guy you'd want to piss off at a shotgun wedding. He's a big man, very rugged with thick arms, broad back muscles and sloping traps - the kind of guy you might have expected to play with the NFL Giants franchise back in the Fifties.
Lambert's got a background in real estate developing and boxing but also owns a World's gym and obviously uses the equipment at his disposal. I ask Lambert where he got the traps- says they came from his early days on construction sites where he'd be lugging brick. From the sounds of it, he's also got a hot wife- twenty years younger- because we're having a conversation about women with great legs and calf muscles and Lambert says, yeah, you ought to see his wife.
Like the bricks he lugged, Lambert's a graduate from the school of hard knocks but is at the point in his life where he exercises more due diligence than impetuosity.
"I've learned to surround myself with very talented people," explains Lambert who's now jumping into the movie industry. Lambert admits he started out wide-eyed and bushy tailed and made a couple of mistakes in the early going.
"We did a first venture with another individual and that didn't work out," Lambert states. "But we learned from that."
Then Lombard met Robert Lombard, and the two of them struck up a very good relationship. Lambert and his wife took a look at the softcore genre and thought this was something they'd want to be involved in.
"We knew we had to have a little bit of a niche and bring the best type of people into the arena," Lambert continues. "We wanted to bring some quality acting into it as well, bring in scripts that would be interesting to watch- and bring in a more entertaining and interesting element to what has been offered to date." But Lambert's also of the opinion that you don't fall in love with your projects.
"If it works out, it's good for everybody and a fair deal for all," he philosophizes. "Then you move on with the attitude that everybody prospers." So far Lambert likes the overall picture.
"And the overall picture for us as a company is to be involved in distribution on the theatrical side as well as acquisitions and sales," he says. Asked if he might venture into the hardcore arena at some point, Lambert thinks he'll stay on the soft side.
"We've never given any thought to going further," says Lambert who's focused on creating a company image for the moment.
"Hard is a specialty in itself- you're dealing with a different element," he hastens to point out. "And we like the element we're in right now."
Anna Mills, on the other hand, is a little tentative of the element she's in. The last time I saw Mills she was recovering from having her head literally planted into the ground at a Ken Marcus party that got out of hand www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=11602
Mills just learned that her grandmother died the day before, and she's also dealing with that issue. But Mills is just as concerned because this is her first time being involved in a softcore production. Mills is playing a character described as the barefoot makeup girl.
"I'd crawl for those feet," Lombard comments. I ask Mills, who also works as a dominatrix and submissive, if she's ever been looked upon as a foot goddess before.
"I do get pedicures," she laughs.
