Charlotte, NC – SocialKink.com, the fetish community site, celebrates the anniversary of its launch this month, marking one year the site has been online serving the social networking needs of kinksters worldwide.

Since its launch in late 2007, SocialKink has carved its place within the fetish landscape, sponsoring numerous events celebrating the kink lifestyle. This year, the list has included SwingFest, the Skin Two Pre Pervy Party in Atlanta, and the eighth annual FetishCon. The last several months have seen the site’s promotional efforts focus on grassroots outreach to the at-large fetish community.

The site itself has gone through changes recently, including the introduction of a “Photo of the Week” feature. There have also been changes to the forums and groups in order to better tailor the site’s offerings to its members. According to the team behind it, the site’s growth is directly tied to the needs of its community.

“By keeping our ears closer to the ground and taking a more personal approach, we’ve been able to address the suggestions of the site’s users even more efficiently,” explains Nature Levon, Social Kink.com Promotions Manager. “The next year for SocialKink promises to be even better than the first.”

In the past year, SocialKink.com has been positively received by lifestylers on a global scale, and has been able to feature the writings of respected names like fetish model Kumi and author/educator Midori. Along with the usual social networking features, SocialKink has always offered visitors unique content such as the featured articles, celebrity blogs, and the wiki-based Kinktionary to help educate surfers about the fetish world.

Despite all it has accomplished, SocialKink.com is not slowing down. A major upgrade to the site is expected in the near future, and one of its most ambitious promotional projects – a SocialKink music CD – should be out before the end of the year.
