WASHINGTON, D.C.—AVN reporting from Washington D.C. describes the proceedings at the John Stagliano trial as one of hurry up and wait.

Presiding judge Richard J. Leon was supposed to deliver a ruling on whether a couple of witnesses for the defense and one for the prosecution would be allowed to testify at trial. An originally scheduled hearing was set for noon, pushed back to 2pm and then Leon informed all of the attorneys - Pamela Satterfield and Bonnie Hannan for the prosecution; Allan Gelbard, Paul Cambria and H. Louis Sirkin for the defense, with Robert Corn-Revere acting as local counsel—- that he wasn’t yet ready to rule on the experts.

Otherwise the attorneys continued to pour over questionnaires submitted by prospective jurors.

The trial will take place in Judge Leon's courtroom on the sixth floor of the E. Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse, 333 Constitution Avenue.

AVN also reports that the judge's courtroom is equipped with a large flat-screen TV at one end of the jury box for viewing the charged movies—Storm Squirters 2, Milk Nymphos and the trailer for Fetish Fanatic 5— during the trial.
