St. Petersburg, Florida -- Thursday's rain made for a wet red carpet at the "Champions of the Good Life" Super Bowl party hosted by boxer Winky Wright, but it definitely didn't dampen the spirits of those attending the event.
"We're dealing with it, we brought umbrellas," said Miss Africa USA Nyasha Zimucha, before heading inside.
Thursday's party was held at The Venue and while doors opened shortly after 8 p.m., most of the stars didn't arrive until 11 p.m.
Among those stopping by for the party, NFL great Deion Sanders, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, former Buccaneer Chidi Ahanotu, Bengals receiver Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson, Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown, Bucs receiver Michael Clayton, adult entertainer Stormy Daniels and Miss Africa USA Nyasha Zimucha.
Thursday's party was the first of three parties held at The Venue under the title of "The Good Life Experience." On Friday, NFL great Deion Sanders will hold his "Legends of the Good Life," party and Saturday Sean "Diddy" Combs will hold his "Icons of the Good Life, Diamonds and Pearls Gala."
When asked about working with Wright and Diddy to promote the parties, Sanders said, "We are like a family."
