Toronto- Participants in the first Adult Entertainment Beach Volleyball Challenge say they'll keep their bathing suits on for a good cause.
The adult entertainers will bust a sweat at the Sports Village Oasis Beach Volleyball Club in Vaughan on Sunday to raise money for Sunnybrook Hospital's Underwear Affair, for cancers below the waist.
"We just wanted to push the envelope a little bit," organizer Pamela Fitzgerald said. "It'll be bathing suits. No one will be totally naked -- we hope."
The competition will draw dancers from strip clubs across the GTA such as Club Pro, Treasures, The Airport Strip, Diamonds, Stallions, Kennedy's and The Whiskey a Go Go. A public tournament in a separate division will be open to anyone. Organizers hope to raise at least $1,500.
"The charity is one that's there to alleviate taboos, so people can get screened for cancers such as colorectal," Fitzgerald said.
