from www.suntimes.com – The cry-for-help suicide attempt of Charlie Sheen’s porn-star galpal Kacey Jordan — which now she is calling a “publicity stunt” — apparently was instigated by her disappointing a mysterious Chicago man who invited Jordan here over the weekend for some kind of a hookup.

A source privy to Jordan’s jaunt to Our Town told me Tuesday, “It’s unclear what the guy had in mind — Charlie Sheen-type wild partying, sex or making a porn film — but Kacey and he did not click.

“There was no violent behavior beyond angry words, but after he left is when she began tweeting and acting crazy.”

Early Monday evening, Jordan tweeted, “those 16 hours i was with charlie sheen… messed me up … i can’t get that image out of my head … i think i keep trying to feel his pain.” She also tweeted about taking “a bunch of pills” and drinking a small hotel minibar bottle of Jack Daniel’s.

Those desperate-sounding tweets led Peninsula Hotel security to enter Jordan’s room early Tuesday, where they discovered her on the bed, surrounded by broken glass, and called 911. Chicago police rushed her to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for psychological evaluation — the usual procedure for possible suicide attempts.

† According to a close Sheen associate, the actor was upset to hear about Jordan’s tweets and actions. “Charlie hopes Kacey gets the help she needs,” he said, indicating Sheen has reached out to Jordan.

† Jordan first made headlines as one of the adult entertainers who were part of Sheen’s huge marathon booze and drug-fueled bender in late January — the one that eventually led the “Two and a Half Men” star to a self-managed sobriety program.
