Kent Wallace posts: Crossover Queen, Sunset Thomas was featured in “The Rumble: An Off-The-Ball Look at Your Favorite Sports Celebrities” section of the New York Post (Sunday, September 10th 2006).

Sunset is seeking to manage a prizefighter and has enlisted the promotional skills of her good friend, Dino Duva of Duva Boxing.

George Willis, sports columnist for the Post, got the story from Sunset while both were attending the recent Sam Peter/James Toney heavyweight bout in Los Angeles-Peter is promoted by Duva Boxing. Sunset has long been a fight fan (she appeared in the ring with Peter-wearing his NABF title belt on ESPN television some months back).

Thomas envisions a global search for just the right fighter, “one with skills, class and pizzazz.” There are already rumbles regarding a reality show based on the search and eventual winner. Says Sunset; “I foresee the show as a cross between HBO’s Cathouse and the Contender!”
