Porn Valley- The Grand Vizier wants to meet for lunch. He tells me to bring my tape recorder so I know this is going to be more talking and less eating.
The Vizier asks if I’ve heard from Skeeter Kerkove at all. I haven’t, but I don’t consider that odd because Skeeter will drop off the face of the earth for weeks at a time.
“Skeeter’s place got raided again the end of April,” the Vizier tells me, proceeding to explain how Max Hardcore brought Skeeter some girl new to the business, named Jenna, from Florida.
Her call time was 9am, and Max, in the mean time, goes to the Grand Prix wherever the fuck they have The Grand Prix out here. I think it’s Long Beach.
“Max figured that his girl would be done early enough so she could join him,” says The Vizier.
“She came in her own car. But by 3:30 she’s still at the shoot, and Max gets a text message from Jenna asking him to come get her, that the cops have arrived.
“Max calls Jenna back and Jenna tells him how the cops are running license plate numbers. Asked if she was done, Jenna tells Max, no, that they just started shooting softcore. Max asks her if the cops came into the house, and Jenna tells him, no, but everyone got herded upstairs in Skeeter’s bedroom.”
According to the way The Grand Vizier hears the story, Skeeter was having a bad day on the set, evidenced by the fact that one boy-girl anal scene is now taking something like six hours.
“Max then gets on the phone with Skeeter and asks him what’s going on,” The Vizier continues.
“Skeeter’s saying something about his lawyers being on the way. The lawyer supposedly arrives and Skeeter’s pacing back and forth saying, ‘Max Hardcore set me up. Max Hardcore set me up.’
“Skeeter then lets Jenna go but he doesn’t pay her,” The Vizier tells me.
“The girl is completely rattled and Skeeter’s saying she still has to finish the softcore. Jenna was working with Jay Ashley and supposedly the hardcore version went over three hours. But Jay was pretty cool and was trying to keep the situation from escalating.
“Supposedly at one point, Jenna asked Skeeter what he wanted from her and he proceeds to set the camera down telling her for the next 45 minutes that she’s stupid and that if she kept it up she wasn’t going to get paid.”
“The story is positively crazy,” says The Vizier. “Skeeter’s muttering Max set me up, and everyone’s looking at this girl wondering if that’s true or not and if she’s the guilty party.
“Max finally arrives and Skeeter’s more agitated,” states The Vizier.
“Max tells him to calm down. Max then asks Skeeter how he could be saying that he set him up. But this isn’t the first time Max and Skeeter have had some words, apparently.
“They went at it the time Layla and Kelly Wells did a scene over at Max’s house. The call time for the scene was 2 pm but Skeeter didn’t get going until round 8 pm. Max wanted him to get things moving along.”
