On past shows, some of my favorites were Sativa Rose, Dani Woodward, and Charlotte Stokely...but they didn't get a chance because the judges(Powers, Canyon, and Ron) voted them off so they didn't get a chance to get any online votes to make it to the finals.
And about McKenzie, you can't take away her Best New Starlet Award....she may not have been in every movie last year but the ones she was in you can't deny her hotness. She's an incredible performer with an awesomely unique style. Her in Slut Puppies, Tear Me and New One, and her Virtual Sex DVD are all just top notch stuff!!! And being quickly signed by Jenna Jameson probably didn't hurt her popularity level.
I can't wait to see her ClubJenna stuff...she has 2 scenes in Jenna's directorial debut The Provocateur and I've heard it's her hottest scenes to date.

I'm embarrassed for thinking it was a legitimate contest for even half a second! But, after all, this is the same channel that wants us to believe that "7 Lives Xposed" is for real!
The one who "won", Brea, got the weakest response from the audience, while Tiffany clearly got the loudest support. Tiffany Taylor was clearly going to be the winner............that is if it had been a legitimate contest.
If Jenna Jameson expects me to believe that the voters chose Brea over Tiffany Taylor, after they voted her out in the first place, she needs to stop smoking the crack. I don't know what the hell Jenna is thinking to have picked Brea over Tiffany? She didn't even try to disguise the fact that Brea was her favorite, talking about how she pulled her back into the contest even after the voters told her to hit the road!
I don't know why I even care? Ordinarily I wouldn't give a crap about this sort of thing, but this sham of a contest was such a blatant rip-off that I felt compelled to say something. There is no way in hell that Tiffany Taylor did not get the most votes! Period!
Nothing against Brea, OK! I'm not trying to trash her. It's just that the choice was so obvious that it boggles the mind that Taylor didn't walk away the winner.
I had been angry at Jim Powers because he knocked Charlotte Stokely out of the contest because she wasn't "tan" enough. (What a great ass on her too!) I thought he was a real asshole for that, but last night I actually found myself agreeing with him when he said that Brea shouldn't even be there! (or words to that effect)
The silver lining is that those of us who find Tiffany to be one of the most drop-dead stunning porno beauties ever, will probably get to see more of her now that she's not tied down with Jenna's company. So, like you said, Wewe, maybe this way we'll get to see more of Tiffany Taylor, and that's a good thing!
Oh yeah! Definitely a good thing.

Then again, the American Sex Star release does state "Jenna and Playboy TV viewers selected bombshells Tiffany Taylor, Michelle Maylene, Lacie Heart and Brea Bennett as the actresses you'd most like to see in action." Perhaps this (and the fact that this was on Playboy TV) is an important distinction I've looked over, because if you had actually seen the other contestants (the finalists as well as the girls all ready eliminated) in action you wouldn't have given the award to Brea.
So, does this mean that Brea will be AVN's Best New Starlet of '06?

I feel that Brea was chosen because she looks so much like a young Jenna, right down to the teeth.
Mckenzie is a sweet girl. Its unfortunate that she's the target of backlash over getting the Best Newcomer AVN Award, but perhaps it will serve as notice to AVN that the public pays more attention to performances than they suspected and are not afraid speak up if something doesn't seem kosher. Mckenzie is a solid performer who will no doubt keep churning out memorable performances, but it is odd that she beat out workhorses like Hillary Scott, Tory Lane, Taryn Thomas, and Courtney Cummz. I would have gone with Hillary, because as far as DVD sales, she's starting to break away from the pack.
