Louisiana- from www.thetowntalk.com - Alexandria Police officers arrested two men Thursday in connection with a burglary during which "Playboy" magazines and pornographic videos were stolen.
After receiving a call about a suspicious person in the 2400 block of Hill Street, officers located Keith Newman, 25, of 2939 Cypress St. in Alexandria and Travious Miller, 23, of 1903 York St. in Alexandria, police said. The two were pushing a shopping cart with boxes containing about 240 "Playboy" magazines, pornographic videotapes and some vinyl records, authorities said.
The suspects said they found the boxes on the street corner and decided to take them to pawn them, according to a police report. One of the officers went to the area the suspects described and found a residence with a broken window.
Officers brought the suspects back to police headquarters for further investigation, according to the report. Police arrested and charged them with burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
