Van Nuys, CA - TightFit Productions has announced plans to have director Shane Bugbee helm a new line of movies in conjunction with TightFit Productions and its cast of directors. Shane Bugbee, director of the controversial new film 'CLUB SATAN: The Witches Sabbath', will begin working on projects for TightFit effective immediately.
TightFit Productions already has plans to release a series of short movies that will be offered for download only. Both Bugbee and TightFit owner Oren Cohen feel the future of adult film resides in downloads and not physical product, and look forward to leading the charge with these creative and highly erotic short movies.
For Bugbee, it was TightFit's youthful energy and DIY spirit that inspired the two parties working together.
TightFit Studios will be welcoming not just Shane Bugbee's directing talents, but Shane's wife Amy, who co-wrote 'CLUB SATAN', will also join in the production of movie titles. The pair plan to produce movies together and separately for the company.
The Bugbee's will produce a newspaper entitled 'THE ADVERSARY'; a free paper that works hand in hand with their RADIO FREE SATAN media empire. The paper is distributed at over 500 locations around the USA, and because it takes advertising from the music industry and other arts as well as adult businesses. It has a crossover appeal that cannot be matched since it is given away at record stores, tattoo shops, and music venues.
Shane Bugbee has had his hand on the pulse of the underground since the 1980s, when he first began publishing zines and fighting for first amendment rights alongside Jello Biafra. Bugbee was recently featured in the book 'Art That Kills'. Amy Bugbee is the founder of Hellraiser Homemaker, an annual guide book for bad girls and has been called the "Martha Stewart of the Satanic Set" by Spin magazine. Radio Free Satan has been broadcasting since 2000, it has broken exclusives that have grabbed international headlines and was prominently featured in the DVD extras of the new OMEN release.
Both Cohen and The Bugbee's feel this new working arrangement is an "organic development" based on their strong independence and their well publicized unwillingness to compromise of follow trends.
