The Transportation Security Administration came down hard yesterday, saying it will fire the worker who slipped a “Get Your Freak On, Girl” note into the bag of a Manhattan lawyer who was toting a vibrator.

“TSA views the handwritten note to be highly inappropriate and unprofessional and apologizes for this unfortunate incident,” spokesman Kawika Riley said.

The security line hijinks made headlines Monday when lawyer and feminist blogger Jill Filipovic [pictured] tweeted that a note about her “personal item” had been left in her suitcase on a TSA form.

The Feministe.com editor later blogged that the kinky prankster shouldn’t get the boot – though she labeled the note “wildly inappropriate.”

“I had no idea this would hit such a nerve,” she wrote. “It’s very overwhelming, and I want it to go away.”

That’s not happening just yet, as Filipovic took some shots yesterday on the website where she first revealed the vibrator note.

“Happy?” read a message left for her by another Twitter user. “Another American is jobless who only in poor taste tried to support your decision to use a mechanical penis #GETAMAN”
