Texas- A Duncanville, Texas couple has been waging an ongoing legal battle with city government because they’ve been charged with operating an underground sex club in their suburban home.

Their club, known as the Cherry Pit, has allegedly been home to wild swinger parties where hundreds of people have gathered for events like “Naked Twister” nights. On it’s Web site, the Cherry Pit is described as “a group of like minded friends who enjoy living the Swinging Lifestyle.” The Web site also shows off the Cherry Pit’s many mattress-filled rooms and hot tubs.

This is just another example of why strip clubs and peep shows are so passé. These days, unlicensed sex clubs are all the rage. After the jump, read about all the dirty doings that have been going down on the underground sex scene.

The Cherry Pit isn’t the only underground sex club that’s been making news lately. About three weeks ago, police in New York City arrested a 52-year-old lawyer named Lewis Posner for allegedly running an unlicensed establishment called the Hot Lap Dance Club in Midtown Manhattan. Guests at the club paid $20 for lap dances, but sex was also on sale at the Hot Lap Dance Club, according to prosecuters.

Back in June, cops in Miami busted a mobile underground strip club. Miami’s “brothel bus” operated out of a specially outfitted van complete with a full bar and a Viagra-peddling driver.

Before any of these unlicensed sex fests were even a twinkle in some perv’s eye, the Washington, D.C. area was home to a thriving “garage strip club” scene. D.C.’s pioneering underground strip joints featured explicit sex shows and private dancers.

Underground strip clubs are clearly here to stay, so you might want to think twice about calling the police to complain the next time you here crazy noises coming from your neighbor’s pad. You may just find yourself on the 11:00 pm news answering weird questions about your neighbors’ public and private habits.
