The latest word is that paramedics have rushed Rob Spallone back to the hospital. He was in a comatose state.

Earlier: Details are sketchy but word comes through Rob Spallone’s girlfriend that Spallone was in a serious car accident.

Spallone and Joey Buttafuoco were out Wednesday night and the accident occcurred at an intersection involving a crash with another vehicle which had turned into their lane. Buttafuoco, who was driving, was banged up, and Spallone whose head hit the windshield had to be extricated from the car with the jaws of life.

It was first reported that Spallone was in critical condition, but this morning both Buttafuoco and Spallone were released from the hospital.
