CHATSWORTH, Calif. --- Girlfriends Films is co-sponsoring the Vice Is Nice benefit party July 23.

Hosted by Penthouse’s Kelly Holland [pictured], Vice Is Nice is a casino night and poker tournament raising money for animal rescues and promoting awareness. One of the party’s primary charities is Life 4 Paws, the organization selected by Girlfriends Films and Trinity St. Clair to receive a $1000 donation in early July as part of the studio’s charity program.

The Vice Is Nice party is July 23 in Chatsworth, California. Tickets for the event are $15 through pre-registration and $25 at the door.

“Girlfriends Films was one of the first sponsors to come onboard last year, and they are a significant sponsor again this year,” says Kelly Holland.

“Girlfriends Films’ owner, Dan, has a strong commitment to activism both within the adult industry and the community, and we're honored to have him as a strong supporter.”

In exchange for the $1000 donation to Life 4 Paws, Girlfriends Films is the official sponsor of four casino tables at Vice Is Nice. Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose says, “We support Kelly's mission and are proud to help in any way we can. Vice Is Nice gives the rest of the adult industry a chance to come out for a good cause and make a difference.”

Life 4 Paws is dedicated to supporting the adoption and rescue of shelter animals in the San Fernando Valley of California. The non-profit organization focuses on rescue, placement and education within the local community. Life 4 Paws chose West Valley Animal Shelter as its partner in the "Adopt-A-Shelter" program. Life 4 Paws believes deciding to adopt a pet is a wonderful and giving act. Because it is a commitment to another being for the rest of its life, the organization wants to make sure people understand the responsibilities and commitment needed for pet care on a daily basis. For more information about Life 4 Paws, or to donate to the organization, visit www.Life4Paws.org.

Each month, Girlfriends Films selects an adult performer from received entries and makes a $1000 donation in her name to the specified charity. 2011 donation include Trinity St. Clair’s choice of Life 4 Paws, Melissa Monet’s choice of Planned Parenthood, Lily Cade’s selection of Lambda Legal and Ryan Keely’s pick of NPR.

Girlfriends Films has a long history of charitable contributions, having donated over $20,000 in 2010 alone. The company recently restructured its charity program from an annual end-of-year donation to an ongoing, monthly program. Any Girlfriends Films performers interested in participating may apply by emailing the following information to [email protected]: name, AIP charity of choice, reason(s) for selecting the charity. Chosen performers will be asked to submit a personal photo depicting the performer engaged with the charity, the charity’s mission, or a similar charitable act.
