Victory World Church (VWC) will host a weekend of events titled “The Porn Talk” with guest Craig Gross,[pictured] founder of XXXchurch.com, the #1 Christian porn web site, to talk about the issue of pornography and its effect on the lives of families, marriages and children.
The Porn Talk is the fourth weekend in the church’s Elephant in the Pew series (www.elephantinthepew.com) about sex-related topics including: the biblical view of sex, sex outside of marriage, alternative sexual lifestyles, pornography and having a healthy sex life in marriage.
The Truth About Porn:
· 47% of Christians admit that porn is a major problem in their home
· 40 million adults in the US visit internet pornography sites
· 1 in 3 visitors to adult websites is female
· 20% of men admit to accessing pornography at work
· The average age a child is exposed to pornography for the first time is 11
· The global porn industry’s revenues are larger than the revenues of the top technology companies combined: Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo, Apple, Netflix and Earthlink
· The US porn industry’s revenue exceeds the combined revenues of ABC, NBC and CBS [total horse manure]

The weekend will address the topic of pornography from a variety of perspectives and will feature events specifically designed for women, men, parents, and children, such as: Porn & Pastries (for women only), Porn & Pancakes (for men only), Porn & Parents (for parents) and Porn & Pizza (for middle and high school students). “Churches don’t just need the ‘sex talk’ they need ‘the porn talk’,” says XXXChurch founder and pastor Craig Gross, “we have to respond to this devastating problem. We are sick of watching people lose everything to porn.”
