Porn Valley- On his KSEX show Monday night, Wankus said he got a phone message from Voodoo [pictured left] wanting a fight with Kurt Lockwood. Voodoo told Wankus he could set it up for charity, whatever, but that he wanted to kick Lockwood's ass because he was sick of Lockwood's drama.
Wankus then called Voodoo live on air, noting that he and Craven Moorehead had just been talking about Lockwood. Wankus asked Voodoo if he knew that Lockwood had a behind the scenes rate. Voodoo said he had no idea but wasn't surprised at all to hear that.
"Any air time and that guy seems to jack up his rates," Voodoo said. Talking about the message he left, Voodoo said he was being dead serious about fighting Lockwood. At the same time, Voodoo said he didn't have a personal beef with Lockwood that he's never spoken to him or crossed paths except one time on a Skye Blue set.
"He was scheduled to perform with his girlfriend and he took off the set because he told Skye and Nick Manning that he would not perform in front of me and Nicole [Sheridan]. He gave Skye Blue the ultimatum- if you want to shoot me, you have to get a different photographer. Either do it today or another day. Skye looked at him and said are you fucking kidding me? These guys are our photographers. Wait a minute - did we piss this guy off some how? What happened. We were in shock more than anything else."
Voodoo said he began doing online research about Lockwood to discover that Lockwood constantly contradicts himself in the same e-mails, for instance, the fact of Lockwood saying how he doesn't read comments about himself but addresses them, nonetheless.
"Nicole and I have diagnosed him as being the ultimate bi-polar," Voodoo continued. "He can go from one end to the other in a split second." As illustration, Voodoo cited the incident between Lockwood and Sheridan recently in Las Vegas.
"Three seconds later he was back signing autographs for fans and Nicole was really pissed off the rest of the day, and I really wanted to kick this guy's fucking ass at The Venetian." Voodoo also wondered what would be the point in allowing yourself to be goaded by Lockwood into a fight where it wouldn't go two seconds then only to do jail time.
"I'm not going to fucking do that," Voodoo said. "Kurt Lockwood has made all these challenges to people in the adult world- I would like to challenge Kurt Lockwood publicly to a mixed martial arts fight in a cage in front of industry-only." Voodoo said Lockwood can put up or shut up, Voodoo's philosophy being if you're a porn star, you fight like you fuck.
"Everybody knows my reputation as a swordsman," Voodoo continued. "I'm putting it on the line." Voodoo said if Lockwood beats him, he'll quit performing. "If he can beat me in a three round, five-minute matchup." Voodoo said Lockwood didn't have to put up the same stipulation except show up. Moorehead was willing to put $1,000 on Voodoo.
Voodoo said the sad thing about the Lockwood situation is his poor girlfriend [Samantha Ryan].
"She is so beautiful and so nice and has no fucking personality- it's because of this guy." Wankus said Ryan is always by Lockwood's side when he behaves like a diva. Voodoo pointed out that Lockwood, when he walked off the Skye Blue set, left his social security card.
"Then he sent her [Ryan] back to pick up his social security card. He didn't come back." Because he's now a director, cameraman and photographer, Voodoo said he can't afford on a constant basis to get into petty squabbles with the performers. On what makes a porn star, Voodoo said it's someone who can fuck, perform in features, wear a condom and work in the freezing cold. Obviously referring to Lockwood, Voodoo said anyone can perform in gonzo and step on a chick's head.
Voodoo went on to say that porn's the most forgiving business in the world.
"We've seen guys fail like a motherfucker and they still get fucking hired by the same people." Voodoo also said that awards don't speak for the performer.
"Go talk to the crew and the lighting guys," he said. Noting that Voodoo was quite riled up, Wankus asked what the fuck was with him. Voodoo said Sheridan was in the middle of giving him a blowjob, so Wankus asked why he bothered answering the phone to begin with.
Voodoo said he was making a point that even with his shit attitude, Lockwood was getting work. Wankus was willing to bet the fight wouldn't happen that Lockwood would find some excuse to back out. Voodoo was certain that if worse came to worst, they could find someone to pay Lockwood to show up.
"Kurt Lockwood to me represents the negative side of the industry," said Voodoo who's wanted to punch walls out of frustration but now says he has a target to focus on.
