Salt Lake City- Bartender, pass the salt. Wankus started the morning putting Tyler Faith on the plane to Tampa but somehow missed the flight himself. He explained it to me but who was paying attention. In any event, Wankus was told that a lot of porn people didn’t make that flight out of LAX. Then he took a later flight out and right now as I’m writing this, Thursday afternoon, is in Salt Lake City with Sky Lopez.

Now there’s a story you have to pay attention to. “We’re getting drunk and friendly,” Wankus told me. “We’re getting a little extra salt in those Margaritas. Surprisingly we’ve been here three hours together.” Wankus and Lopez bumped into one another.

“I didn’t know she was here,” Wankus said. “I walk into the smoking room at the airport and here’s some fucking short-haired, tattooed bitch smoking pot in a smoking room in an airport in Utah. Fucking toking a joint in the airport.”

Lopez overheard a conversation Wankus was having, talking about Tampa. “She goes you going to Tampa, too? Yeah. Who are you? I’m Wankus. She goes I’m Sky Lopez. We know each other but didn’t recognize each other.” Lopez told Wankus I was her first interview, the first day she was in the business.

Lopez then got on the phone and went down memory lane regarding that meeting with Shane at a restaurant on Sherman Way. Lopez explained that she got a surprise call to come host the Nightmoves awards but missed her flight. “I missed my flight and ran into this guy. Everyone’s calling wondering where he’s at; and everyone’s calling me wondering where I’m at. We’re telling them we’re together in Utah, and the rumors are just flying!” Lopez says just as well. She hasn’t been in the middle of shit for awhile. Lopez predicted that she and Wankus will be drinking the entire time on route to Tampa.

“We’re going to start the Mile Sky Club today,” she said.

I told Lopez she has to get a KSEX show out of this at the very least.
