Wanted List Featured in Wired Magazine

Van Nuys, Calif. – With the words The NetFlix of Porn on the cover, and a four page spread within their November 2005 issue, Wired Magazine has heralded WantedList with an exclusive profile and detailed account on the company and its two owners, Anh Tran and Danny Ting.

The article, entitled Skin City, goes in-depth into the business of online adult DVD rentals, and the history of the company that Tran and Ting created. “It’s not the career path Ting and Tran expected. Five years ago, they were Silicon Valley tech consultants, working at Arthur Andersen for clients like Intel, Brio Technology, and Southern California Edison. Today, they have a warehouse and office space in the San Fernando Valley.”

The article goes on with an in-depth profile about the company’s history, their lives prior to creating WantedList, the company’s initial launch, and the future on online rentals. The story will be available at newsstands and will be online on October 31st at Wired.com.

WantedList.com is the world’s premiere adult movie rental service offering customers fast, reliable and discreet access to over 15,000 movie titles-the largest selection on the web. WantedList’s membership service puts an end to the hassle of video store rentals by offering a “no late fees, no due dates, no shipping fees” guarantee and the option to buy any movie the customer desires. WantedList’s fun and engaging tools include consumer reviews, original editorials, new releases, performer pages and the infamous ‘Pornotron’ search tool. WantedList.com was founded by Anh Tran and Danny Ting, two educated first-generation Asian Americans who joined forces to create a presence in the competitive world of adult entertainment. The company won the award for ‘Best Retail Website’ at the 2005 AVN Awards.
