Denver (MSNBC) — Jay Cutler threw two touchdown passes as the Denver Broncos defeated the Tennessee Titans 34-20 last night to tie the San Diego Chargers for first place in the American Football Conference’s West Division.
In a matchup of quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 2006 National Football League draft, Cutler tossed a 48-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Stokley and a 41-yard score to Brandon Marshall at Denver’s Invesco Field. The Broncos have won two straight games to improve to 5-5.

With the loss, the Titans (6-4) fell into third place in the AFC South, two games behind the Indianapolis Colts and one behind the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Broncos opened a 14-0 first-quarter lead on Stokley’s touchdown reception and an 80-yard punt return by Glenn Martinez. They led 27-20 in the fourth quarter when Andre Hall scored on a 62-yard run with 12:48 remaining.
