Last night at Alex's in Boston, a religious nut showed up with his staff and crucifix, protesting the existance of the gentlemen's club, sex, alcohol and pretty much any other interest most of America has on a daily basis.
Standing in front of the TONIGHT, TYLER FAITH sign, this anti-porn freak chanted prayers and warned passer bys that they were sure to go to hell if they supported such a thing.
Tyler, walked out, posed herself in front of her sign and next to the gentlemen and began asking questions. "What are you so upset about?" "Do you really think people who visit these places are going to hell?" "I was raised Catholic and told that God will always forgive you for your sins."
In a comedic back and forth that I captured on video (shown next week on KSEX), the man insisted that God forgives, except for these sins.
When the conversation seemed to hit a wall, I asked Tyler, "If you met God today honey, what would you like him to see?" Without missing a beat, Tyler lifted up her shirt for the fanatic and started dancing around him. Pointing to her sign, shouting, "God loves these" and other hysterical chants.
The freak started praying loudly and responding by saying, "Where's a cop when you need him" "I hope you get locked up" "You're a demon and a horrible human being".
After another prayer, he grabbed his staff (yea, I'm sure he did) and left.
This is exactly the kind of shit that scares people away from religion. Some moron who thinks he knows God and how God thinks because he read a book that was re-written, re-interpreted and incomplete. The bible is a guide people, not a final rules list. There were so many missing pieces of the bible when clerics found the scriptures that a lot of it was filled in by people guessing and assuming.
Many bibles even have a disclaimer that state such information.
Regardless, here's a guy who's suppose to be preaching the love of God and within one titty flash, he's name calling, chastising and not saving anyone.
You want to spread the word of God? Fine. Putting someone down is not how the bible says Jesus acted. In fact, Jesus loved all.
