When a dead body is discovered, all the evidence points directly at Silas, who gets arrested. Desperate to help clear her husband, Harlow throws herself at the mercy of none other than his former lover, Avena (Kenzie Anne), daughter of mobster Dino Moretti (Axel Braun).
“Ideas depicted in movies often involve innocent characters being falsely accused of heinous crimes by the actual perpetrator who manipulates the situation through planting evidence, gaslighting, lying to law enforcement, and other strategies,” explained Gamble. “My aim was to take this concept and add an emotional element to it. It’s fascinating that these types of criminal setups can occur in real life, where individuals are framed by killers in dramatic scenarios involving affairs, fake evidence, and death wishes that seem like they’re straight out of a Hollywood script.”
The multifaceted ensemble cast also includes Kenna James, Lexington Steele, Nathan Bronson, Tommy Pistol, Ryan Reid, August Skye, Nicole Doshi, David Lee, among others.
Gamble commended Kenzie Anne’s performance as Avena Moretti, expressing his desire to highlight a new aspect of her abilities that he had not previously seen.
“Impressed by her stunning looks and captivating aura, he acknowledged her outstanding acting abilities and charm that enable her to effortlessly embody any role. Nevertheless, in this specific situation, her attractiveness becomes troublesome. While Avena’s charisma is a valuable quality, it can also be employed for manipulative purposes, as she has no qualms about using it to deceive others.”
Gamble clarified that Liam Nash, Bronson’s character, is a continuation from the previous series “Privilege.”
Gamble explained that in the story, the main character is about to take over his father’s wealth and business, but his father is facing possible imprisonment. The main character’s brother is an untrustworthy gambler, and he becomes involved with the Moretti family, who his younger brother owes a lot of money to.
Bronson expressed his excitement about his performance with Kenzie Anne.
“I am thrilled with the amazing acting skills and on-screen chemistry we had,” he expressed. “The scene we filmed is sure to leave the audience in awe, and I cannot wait to see their reaction. Additionally, I am grateful that my character from ‘Privilege’ was included in this film, as it is a significant and impactful project to be a part of.”
The second episode of “Reckless,” premieres today exclusively on Wicked.com.
