Acacia Research Corporation announced today that its Acacia Technologies group, a technology licensing company, has entered into a license agreement for its Digital Media Transmission ("DMT") technology with World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.
World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is an integrated media and entertainment company headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. The Agreement covers all non-live streaming and downloads of audio/video content from WWE.com and the company's more than 200 other websites, including Webcast On-Demand, WWE Video Library, and Match Jukebox.
Acacia has entered into 177 license agreements for its DMT(R) technology for cable TV, corporate websites, e-learning, hotel on-demand TV services, and online entertainment, movies, music, news, and sports.
