from www.lasvegassun.com – 2012 AVN/Adult Entertainment Expo officials have acknowledged that this year’s trade show and 29th annual awards at the Hard Rock Hotel are an overcrowding concern. In fact, Vegas DeLuxe learned that more than 500 requests from media to cover the red carpet and awards at the Joint on Saturday were rejected.

“We just had to cut it when it got too much,” one of the publicity people said. “We turned down over 500 media outlets requesting access, so for those who made the cut, we are relying on phenomenal, glowing coverage. The AVN Awards is the biggest event of the year for us. Every nomination is a result of the blood, sweat and tears of many.

“The stars have been waxing, exfoliating, fasting and preparing in otherwise unfathomable ways to look fabulous for the cameras!”
